I’m still on episode 4, but so far it’s good, actually quite amazing, it’s been everything I hoped it would be
I know there will be a lot of people who won’t be happy with this adaptation, but ultimately it’s a great great novel, we all know it’s simply unfilmable, and as you all know, the author didn’t agree to adapt the novel.
they did a remarkable job of recreating the spirit of the novel + the cast is very good and the locations and the whole production was actually satisfying
before, and now his children have agreed to adapt it, so the result, in my opinion, is that Netflix has managed to adapt it quite well, maybe not everything perfectly, but they’ve come very close, I think.
"One Hundred Years of Solitude" is one of the biggest TV and streaming premieres this month
Overall I recommend people to give it a shot and not let the critics affect you and also not let the Netflix name have an effect on you..
