The first season had a driving narrative force anchored in the Ultron-Watcher storyline, which provided a satisfying conclusion. The second season didn’t have the same overall storyline as the episodes felt much more disconnected from each other. I enjoyed some of the episodes, especially the first one where Nebula joins the Nova Corps as I felt it gave off a very steampunk sci-fi vibe which I liked. I also liked the episode involving Hela and the 10 rings. I thought it did a good job of basically mimicking the plot of the first Thor movie but with Hela as the main character. I appreciated a lot of the action in the second season but the pacing in both seasons is just too fast. This is understandable since they are trying to fit the entire story into a 30 minute runtime. That said, it is so fast paced that the show doesn’t give you a moment to breathe and absorb the different story moments…especially the dramatic ones. Overall, I felt like the second season was more boring than I would have expected. The first season received an 8, but after watching the second season, I’ll lower my rating for the entire series to 7.
